Here is how I use
the Web Cams and the Weather Cams for added weather awareness: 1) I Click On the airport near my destination (or enroute) that has a webcam. 2) I Click On the webcam-thumbnail on the airport page. 3) I select Shift-Reload (or Shift-Refresh) to ensure that I have the latest image. 4) I also check the Time-Of-Day on the image to ensure that the image is current. 5) I then call my Flight Service Station (FSS) for the Weather and NOTAMS. |
